Roast chicken with cherry tomatoes

Quick and easy one-pot dinner, a good option for a muggy evening when all you can bear to do is put some delicious ingredients in a pan and hide it in a hot oven for an hour. Here’s the recipe. 

For dessert, we had meringues (made with the whites leftover from last week’s carbonara) with blueberries, raspberries and cream. 

Everyone’s talking about… Wishbone, a new eatery coming to Brixton. Just as burgers and barbecue have had a foodie upgrade through pop-ups, street food vans and ‘too cool for school’ restaurants, now it’s the turn of good old fried chicken. Wishbone is by one of the guys behind MeatLiquor who is promising “a few well crafted cocktails, plenty of beer and Wishbone free-range fried chicken served with some carefully chosen sides”. Opening this month.
